Alan Kachin, the legendary owner of the Fort Lauderdale Eagle, is bored of retirement and is thinking of reopening his classic venue, bigger and better then ever before. As someone who has run various successful gay bars in Philadelphia (EQUUS), Miami (HOMBRE) and Pear & Partridge Inn, Bucks County Pa. I thought I would let everyone know that the response to my planned re-opening of the Ft Lauderdale Eagle has been quite remarkable. Clearly there is the need for a REAL Leather and Men's Bar in our area. The critical mass of MEN who will make the venture a success are out there and chomping at the bit! I am also pleased to report that I have had many parties approach me with a view to becoming involved in the bar. Many thanks for all the support – it has made me more determined than ever that our Community will finally get the venue that it deserves.
